Why are prepaid and COD shipping rates different?

Prepaid shipments are orders where the customer pays online before delivery, while COD (Cash on Delivery) shipments are paid for at the time of delivery.

COD shipments may have slightly higher charges than prepaid shipments due to COD services such as cash collection, remittance processing, and COD handling. You can use the rate calculator to compare prepaid and COD charges before booking a shipment.
